Surveillance is starting to hit its stride in the mass marketplace, thanks to true wireless plug-and-play IP-based systems that are extremely easy to setup, and cost in the hundreds of dollars rather than thousands. Legacy CCTV systems are largely made up of closed proprietary technology that is difficult to manage and share with law enforcement agencies and others. Because the small business space is relatively untouched by these legacy systems, companies like WiLife have leapfrogged existing technology available in the marketplace with an all-in-one IP-based system that uses open compression formats including Window Media Video and Windows-based PCs to store, manage, and share video. Using existing PCs as a command center, rather than expensive standalone DVRs, reduces startup costs and provides a system foundation that small business owners are familiar with and comfortable using for their everyday surveillance needs.
Over the last 20 years there has been little change in the typical CCTV system. Time-lapse VCRs have largely been replaced by DVRs; but analog cameras still dominate the edge of the system. Internet connectivity is not even offered to the customer in most instances. These types of systems typically end up sitting on a shelf and collecting dust until there is an event that requires review. At that time many people find that the system had a software or mechanical failure that prevented the system from capturing the event. Even if the system were working properly, search and playback are usually not easy tasks. On-screen menu-driven commands make it difficult to navigate. Proprietary software and compression formats make it difficult to manage and share video files.
Now, WiLife Pro Video Security System is the world’s first auto-integrated, PC-based, professional digital video security system. It automatically integrates WiLife-engineered components of up to six IP video cameras, feature-rich command center software, and robust online remote access. Using powered Ethernet and plug-and-play camera discovery, it also offers the world’s easiest set-up and most intuitive interface. Features include motion-based recording onto the computer’s hard-drive with innovative search and playback. WiLife Pro also offers free anywhere, anytime remote access to live video from Windows PCs and cell phones as well as providing motion-based instant email and cell phone alerts.

There are many uses for hidden cameras and spy cameras including watching over your house or business to make sure no one is vandalizing or robbing from your business. Our society today does not trust anyone, even friends and family who will stab you in the back the first chance they get to get your money or possessions.
But not to much information is around that talks about a wearable spy camera and how and why they are used much less set them up. In this article we talk about 3 different kinds of wearable spy cameras, what they are used for and how to set them up.
A) Button Spy Camera – There are 3 kinds of button spy cameras and we describe each one.
This button spy camera replaces a button on your shirt or jacket and is used by private investigators and detectives to spy on cheating spouses and insurance fraud cases. It’s also used by a man to gather evident’s on his cheating wife like in a bar or restaurant. This type of button spy camera can be used with wires usually tucked inside the shirt plugging directly into the portable DVR recorder like the DVR-9800.Â
It can also be used wirelessly but a 2.4Ghz receiver is required for the camera to transmit the video to. The receiver is about the size of a VCR tape and is not easily put in a pocket, so most investigators will have the receiver in their car using a 12V power adapter to run off the cigarette lighter and connect the receiver into a portable DVD recorder. The camera will transmit around 700 feet. The camera requires a 12V battery pack which can be worn on the body.

Although surveillance cameras are adequate for most surveillance missions, sometimes it’s better to use a spy listening device without video.
Covert listening device listen in on conversations like the bionic ear hearing amplifier, electronic listening devices, secret listening devices, spy telephone listening devices, and other listening devices spy equipment are the most popular among spy gadgets and are available in varied shapes, sizes, and prices. From an operating range of around 300 yards people can be heard and recorded without the parties ever knowing anything is going on.
Let’s talk about the Role of Spy Listening Devices?
The spy listening device has many purposes, the most predominant of them being the following:
- Covert listening devices can be used to gather all types of information, and can prove very helpful in private or governmental investigations of any type.
- These secret listening devices help to record certain important conversations, and prove very helpful for the amateur user, and the surveillance professional.
- Gadgets like the Super Ear Plus Sound Amplifier and the Super Ear Directional Microphone listening devices can be used to determine whether your children are safe at all times, whether you have a faithful spouse, and have often proved very helpful in custody hearings and divorce cases.
- Spy telephone listening devices like the TeleSpy Intruder Alert and other types of listening devices spy equipment can help ensure that you have the right way of a particular conversation that may have taken place.

GPS is good for many things like tracking packages and locating lost or stolen cars or trucks but commercial truck fleets large or small can use GPS systems to save on the rising high gas prices and as of the date of this article gas prices are at a record high again at over $3.00 per gallon.
This article will explain how GPS can be used to save money on high fuel costs. Having a pre-determined route will little stops and goes and shorter routes will prevent vehicles from using as much gas.
Using your GPS you can create and store from 100 to over 1000 waypoints which are simply a “mark” or “landmark” that identifies a home, a hiking trail, a highway rest stop, or any location you store in a GPS receiver. The waypoint might appear as an icon on a map page, but your GPS software can maintain much more information about it, such as its latitude, longitude, and elevation, and the time and date when it was created. You can even use a descriptive icon of your choice.
Most GPS systems have a button or menu selection for setting the current location as a waypoint so it’s easier to return to. You can give the spot a descriptive name, and you can choose an icon for it on the waypoint information page, which usually pops up after you mark a location. Once you have your waypoints marked and stored then download the route that will save the efficient route to a computer via a USB port. This route can now be used as a means of guiding other GPS tracking hand held devices through this predetermined route.
Driver(s) can then carry a WorldTracker GPRS or Emergency Tracker portable handheld GPS tracker unit and send routing information as the vehicles is moving. Once moving, an operator can compare the predetermined route with the route the driver is taking and if there are any problems, the driver can be alerted through a cell phone that he is on course or heading in the wrong direction.
By following the route that save the most gas on a vehicle can be a real money saver for a small or large fleet of trucks of cars.

Just an ordinary clock? Not really. It’s a hidden camera placed in an ordinary kitchen or living room clock. This is a standard wall clock with built in hidden camera on the inside.
This hidden camera could be used for many home or business application as this just looks like a ordinary clock and nothing special.
Concealed within this ordinary clock is your very own portable private eye. Do this with a standard quartz Wall Clock hidden camera. Diameter measures 11 1/4 inches. Just hang-up it up, plug it in and go.
The Image Sensor in the Wall Clock Hidden Camera is a 1/3? Sony CCD for(B/W) and 1/4? CCD for Color that has a resolution of 400 Lines(B/W) or 380 Lines(Color)
This is a CCD type camera camera which stands for Charged Coupled Device which is analog technology has a little bit higher resolution than CMOS. The camera also functions better in low light. A CCD camera drains a little bit more power than the CMOS cameras. It uses 12v instead of 9v. CMOS camera is smaller than a CCD camera and works longer with the 9v battery.
This Wall Clock Hidden Camera is available with the following options:
