Mobile surveillance is essential to complete the information developed by the fixed surveillance positions. The current trend is to combine this mobile surveillance with the initial attack.

Mobile surveillance is conducted on foot, on public transportation, or in other vehicles. Most mobile surveillance camera systems are a combination of stationary and mobile; the investigator may remain in one place while a subject visits a residence, sits at home, or goes to a motel.

Mobile surveillance is often required in many types of investigations. Therefore, as the target may already be a little paranoid, it is often necessary to employ the services of multiple private investigators and surveillance resources in order to avoid detection.

Mobile surveillance is used when the subject is on the move and the need to follow and gather further information as to locations visited and activities of the subject depending on the operation aims are required. Mobile surveillance can be conducted using various vehicles including cars, vans, motorcycles and boats.

Mobile surveillance is rapidly gaining prominence as an effective surveillance tool with law enforcement and the military, and outdoor surveillance has become increasingly important in safeguarding public and organizational interests. Mobile surveillance is complicated, sophisticated and labor intensive. But the state police had exceptionally useful civilian cars and agreed to help Gang Crimes because of their belief that Cruz and Sanchez were involved in Palatine.  Mobile surveillance is used against football hooligans (just as great a problem in Germany as the UK) and at major trade fairs. However, Dresden and Leipzig – ironically, cities in the former Communist East Germany – are the only cities to have even tested video surveillance of their city centers.

Children can go missing for several reasons, each of which should be a cause for concern for all of us. Believe it or not parental abduction is a large and growing form of child abduction.

Parental child abduction is a tragedy – and a federal crime – that jeopardizes children and has substantial long-term consequences for the “left-behind” parent, the child, the family, and society. Children who are abducted by their parents are often suddenly isolated from their extended families, friends, and classmates.

Child abduction is one of the most excruciating tactics people take during the divorce process . And sadly, in today’s world, there are countless national and international parental child abduction cases reported each year. Child abduction murders have influenced our laws and formed the rationale for many policies and procedures in social services and law enforcement.

Child Alert Center Charities broadcast 30 minute television programs that will display posters of missing children from the local and surrounding areas on Saturday evenings. The show includes the appropriate contact information for viewers to call if they recognize any of the children shown and/or have any other relevant information. Child Find’s website provides Internet users access to many materials on how to find abducted children.

Children are more important than cars, but the Department for Children, Schools and Families—the lead Department—collects no data on runaway and missing children.

Child abduction is a serious and traumatic crime. While everyone has become aware of frightening “stranger kidnappings,” abductions are most often carried out by people who know the child. But even nowadays more and more sex offenders are being let out of jail early to relieve the overcrowding in prisons. These sex offenders will often resort to kidnapping for the child never to be seen again like the Etan Patz case, is worse than the child’s actual death. Child abduction is the equivalent of a nuclear blast to a family. In many ways, having a child abducted and not ever knowing his or her true fate.

Parents often neglect the true feelings of there children. Children need to feel open and able to approach another adult authority figure when somethings not right. Find or help your child find someone they can confide in when they don’t want to talk with you.

Parents can use their internal barometer to help children realize who safe and non-safe people are. A lot of parents worry that their children will become too clingy if they don’t let their children go to a lot of people freely (baby-sitter, family friends, people at a family reunion, etc.)

Parental child abductions may occur within the same city, state or country, or may even occur internationally. Depending on the laws of the state and country in which the child abduction occurs, the abduction may or may not constitute a criminal offense. Parental child abduction is a tragedy. When a child is abducted across international borders, the difficulties are compounded for everyone involved.

Parents who have made credible threats to abduct a child or have a history are particularly high risk especially when accompanied by other factors, such as quitting a job, selling a home, and moving assets.

The Missing Children website’s goal is to provide a major resource of information for parents who have been victimized by the child abductor. 

Parental child abductions may be within the same city, within the state region or within the same country, or may be international.

Parental abductions and runaway cases make up the majority of missing children in the United States. In 2001 alone there were about 725,000 children reported missing, or nearly 2,000 per day. Parent abductors are frequently known to invent stories about the abandoned parent to silence the frightened child’s questioning. With the death of a parent, generally comes loss of attachment, history, and roots.

Parents, schools, faith based communities, law enforcement, community members, and children should all be congratulated for coming together to fight for happy childhoods for all children.

Every child that is taken is one too many, but as we learn more about what works in the prevention/education field and communities support non-profits in getting those messages out there we hope to continue to see a decline.
