Neighbors say he is taking out his frustrations. It went from dumping boxes of junk into the backyard, to ripping cabinets off the walls. It’s happening all over the USA, especially in Phoenix Arizona where foreclosures are rampant!

Banks will require them to wait longer before applying to refinance. Also, the homeowners in our example destroyed their net worth on legal title basis. Banks do not often pay for pest reports, repairs or home warranty plans. Banks and mortgage companies tend not to go after the owners who vandalize because the cost outweighs the benefits. Therefore, with no consequences, half of those who have to leave trash their homes.

Lincoln, who is based in Ahwatukee Foothills but represents properties all over town, said the problem is most widespread in Valley neighborhoods that were built during the housing boom a few years ago. While some homes are stripped by cash-strapped former owners, others are targeted by strangers. Lincoln said one of his clients purchased a bank-owned house in Tolleson. Before it closed, thieves posing as pest-control workers broke in and removed $4,000 in appliances!

Homeowners caught in the act may be subject to criminal prosecution, including damage and defrauding a secured creditor. Authorities must be able to prove that is was the homeowner that stripped the home of valuables, and that the person knew it was illegal to do so. Homeowners would default on mortgages while losses on mortgage-backed securities would drain retirement savings from 401(k)s and pension plans. Taxpayers would ultimately be hit with a large bill.

In addition, police tracked down teenagers who told them what happened but denied being involved. There have been no arrests. Police agencies around the country report that buildings abandoned after foreclosure are contributing to higher property crime rates. Since those properties ?are often vandalized for any items of value, inhabited by squatters, or used for the manufacture of drugs, the slum-like conditions spark a downward spiral that radiates throughout the community, even in the most upscale areas. Police across the country have noted an uptick in illegal parties at foreclosed homes.

It’s a sign of a real bad economy. Gov. Pat Quinn is planning to release 1,000 inmates from prisons across Illinois the next several months in an effort to save money. Corrections spokeswoman Januari Smith said the bulk of those to be released and placed on supervised parole will be drug and property crime offenders.

They will be wearing electronic monitoring devices but they are not GPS equipped, because the state can’t afford expensive the GPS equipped devices. The reality of the situation is EVERYONE should be outraged that the State of Illinois would authorize this. And this is just the beginning. States all across the nation and looking to trim expenses and lower the deficit and this to politician looks like a sure way to delimitate expenses.

The problem is, we will all pay for this. More crime, more vandalism, etc! They will all be dispersed into peaceful neighborhoods like yours.

High crime neighborhoods in Chicago will become even more unlivable. And the entire city will become a little more dangerous.  Drug pushers, thieves and burglars will cause increased violence. Would you want your wife, parents, or children to be home when one of Quinn’s Cons comes through the window looking for a TV or computer to steal?

Alzheimer’s patients often have spatial/visual problems which may be affected by confusing designs on the floor. One common problem these patients also have is while walking from room to room, they may become confused if the flooring changes from carpeting to linoleum or vice versa, and they may be afraid of taking a step.

Alzheimer’s patients tend to wander off as the disease progresses. They are going home usually, which could be a place they lived in 50 years ago or more. Alzheimer’s patients who can no longer be cared for at home are routinely given drugs to keep them quiet and passive once they go into institutions. I saw myself how my late stepfather turned into a zombie-like figure after such treatment, which was administered because the unit he was in was seriously short of staff and funds, and they saw this poisoning of patients as the only way they could manage.

Caregivers for Alzheimer’s patients must deal with not only the cognitive decline of their loved ones but also the behavioral and psychiatric problems that arise as a result of the disease, such as agitation, aggression and psychosis. It is important to remember, however, that while Alzheimer and agitation are often linked, disturbing behavioral symptoms can often be alleviated without medication or institutionalization.

Caregivers’ mean-centered baseline depression scores and gender were included as covariate’s in the model to equalize rates at baseline. The best-fitting longitudinal change pattern was selected for the first year (logarithmic model) and follow-up years (linear model) (Mittelman et al. Caregivers are scarcer to come by than before, since previously the tight-knit family unit would take care of its own. Due to the trends of sprawling cities and job opportunities in distant locations, the young and restless have moved on, leaving behind the elderly.

Cameras can be used to monitor activities such as boarding and exiting, and act as a deterrent against violence and vandalism. In addition, video monitoring can provide a means to assess a driver’s ability and safety risk, as well detect the violations of other driver’s around the bus itself.

Cameras in the bus are positioned to capture video of the driver, stairwell, and students. Additional cameras for other areas of the bus, even outside the bus to capture images of automobiles passing a stopped school bus, are possible configurations.

Video surveillance as a preventative measure on school buses has been shown to enhance the management of problem behavior on the buses, and the immediate video feedback helps school administrators confront the individuals involved soon after incidents occur.
