What is WiLife Platinum?

WiLife Platinum is an upgrade to WiLife 2.0.

WiLife Platinum expands your already powerful WiLife Video Security system with innovative camera, software and online features.

These are not ordinary nanny cams but custom easy to install (15 minutes) hidden cameras that have high resolution that you can use to watch your children, elders or pets while you are away. And now, they can be more powerful than ever!

The most versatile and popular hidden camera is the Air Purifier Hidden Camera shown below. It comes with WiLife version 1.x but is upgradeable to version 2.0 as described below.

Here We talk about 3 new features that will be very useful when monitoring your loved ones while at work and are part of the WiLife Platinum upgrade package.

Digital Pan, Tilt, Zoom

With Digital PTZ, you can narrow in on specific areas of your WiLife camera’s viewing area. This feature is not available remotely but you can remote into your command center PC where your surveillance cameras are located by using XP Pro’s terminal services. This can be done by logging into your PC from Windows XP Pro “Remote Desktop Configuration”. Click Here for information on how to set up a remote connection to your PC from another one.

• Zoom in on the nanny or caregiver 
• Focus on the child or elder being abused 
• Concentrate on theft by your caregiver

Simply access the Digital PTZ feature on the Live View screen and enjoy these options:

• Easily switch cameras
• Apply and reuse frequently used settings
• Easily switch between a camera’s custom PTZ settings
• Zoom, pan, or tilt a camera’s view with a simple click

Online Video Sharing

WiLife Platinum gives you the ability to share video files you’ve stored online with friends, family, employees, and even local law enforcement. Online Video Sharing allows you immediate access and ability to:

• Send videos to police when you see abuse 
• Send video to police of theft by your caregiver
• Create your very own security-minded community with friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. of nannies who are abusive and should not be used

Remote Search & Playback

Go beyond live Internet viewing. You can now search for and play video clips of your nanny or caregiver from your WiLife Command Center online!

• Access your recorded video from anywhere, at any time.
• Search by date, time, site, or camera.
• Create and save custom searches.
• Play one or many video.

You can remotely view the video clips at any one of your WiLife Command Center sites using the Online Search and Playback page on your WiLife Online Account.

There are many more features available with the WiLife Platinum subscription service.

WiLife Platinum is supported by WiLife 2.0, which is available to download now. WiLife 2.0 includes enhancements to e-mail alerts scheduling, desktop notifications, and support of Windows Vista and the latest firewall systems.

Platinum will not run on Werks versions 1.4, 1.5. or 1.6. Your software should automatically inform you when there is an update. To update your software manually, go to the advanced setup tab and click “Check for Updates”.
