GLC Enterprises announces it will supply advanced GPS Tracking capabilities to Ordia Solutions, the leading provider of interoperable, collaborative, and mobile command and control solutions for public safety.

GLC Enterprises, Inc. worked with Ordia Solutions, Inc. to integrate the worlds smallest GPS Tracking Device into the existing Mobile Tactical Collaboration System workspace.

Smaller than a set of keys, the WorldTracker GPRS Tracker can be affixed to an officer’s gun belt or radio harness, or with extended battery, to a vehicle.

The Tracker is integrated in Ordia Solutions’ Mobile Tactical Collaboration System ™, enabling commanders to know where their operators are, their speed and direction of travel. Operators have an added sense of safety knowing their moves are being monitored by their command staff during high risk and high threat operations.

MTCS is built on top of Microsoft’s Virtual Earth mapping platform and uses standards-based Web 2.0 technologies, which enable rapid integration with external systems such as the advanced GPS tracker.

Ordia Solutions and GLC Enterprises are taking a leadership role in helping public safety and homeland security agencies quickly leverage these new technological capabilities.
