If you own the LukWerk Indoor, Outdoor, Spy Camera or Hidden Cameras and own version 1.x and want to upgrade to version 2.0 this detailed article will tell you how to do it screen by screen. To begin with version 2.0 of the WiLife Command Center contains many enhancements that many ordinary surveillance cameras not only don’t have but would charge you an arm-and-a-leg for!

In addition for a mear $79.95 per year you can get even more advanced features that are part of the WiLife Platinum package which gets enabled when you subscribe to Platinum. We will show you how to do this too and get things like Pan-Tilt-Zoom and much more. Here is comparison of the features in the Platinum version which is well worth the money.

Here is a short description of the features inside the Platinum software.

- Connection Monitoring allows you to remotely supervise your system by receiving an email or cell phone message if your Command Center , PC, or cameras go offline. Now you can take action fast.

- Online Video Sharing allow you to share select video clips with friends, family, employees and even local law enforcement. Simply upload the segment and list the email addresses for nearly instant distribution.

- Remote Search and Playback allows you to go beyond live Internet viewing. Access your recorded video at anytime, anywhere. Use easy search tools to locate and view video by date, time, and site – with up to the minute availability.

- Online Video Storage keeps your important video safe. Store protected video clips securely in your online account where you have the perfect tools to review, organize, and share.

- Digital Pan-Tilt-Zoom allows you to scan and zoom within the current viewing area of your camera. Now you can focus in on the door, cash register, or other home and business targets from your WiLife Command Center.

- Remote Camera Management allows you to control your cameras through WiLife Online where you can remotely adjust options such as resolution, motion sensitivity, and even arm/disarm alerts.

- Connection Monitoring allows you to remotely supervise your system by receiving an email or cell phone message if your Command Center , PC, or cameras go offline. Now you can take action fast.

- No Show Alerts allows you to intelligently monitor an area where you expect motion. If there is no motion, the system alerts you. Now you can be notified immediately whether the kids come home from school on time.

- Password System Lock keeps the snooping eyes and tampering fingers of employees or kids off the entire Command Center or individual features while you are away. Lock access using your private system password.

- Desktop Notifications lets WiLife notify you when there is motion on your cameras with a popup window on your PC. Notifications display a thumbnail image of the event and sound an alert tone of your choice.

- Scheduled Alerts uses a simple calendar to schedule times to turn email and cell motion alerts on or off. For example, arm your system Monday through Friday at 10:00 PM and disarm at 6:00 AM.

Now let’s show you how to download version 2.0 and upgrade to the fantastic Platinum features.

1) Download the free WiLife v2.0 Update (you will need a registered copy of WiLife software and a remote viewing account).  Click Here to download your free copy. When requested to Run or Save the v2.0 software, choose Save and save it to a folder in your hard drive (See pic below).

Next, go to where you saved the installation and double click on the file as shown below. No need to uninstall the old version.

You will see the following dialog, click on the Run button to install version 2.0.

You will see the installation progress dialog next as shown below.

Click the Next button to proceed with the installation as shown below.

Select the “I Agree” radio button and Click the Next button as shown below.

Click the Next Button

The Installation starts as shown below.

Next you will be asked if you want the WiLife Command Center Surveillance System to run automatically when your computer starts. Press the Yes or No button.

When finished, you will be asked to restart the computer, click the Finish button and your computer reboots.

Double click on the WiLife Command Center Icon and the Command Center logo appears as shown below.

You will be asked to update the software on your surveillance cameras if there is a newer version is available, Click the OK button.

Click on the Update Camera button to upgrade the firmware on the cameras as shown below.

Now it’s time to upgrade to Platinum which costs only $79.95/yr for many other capabilities that many surveillance systems only dream of. Click on the OnLine button at the top of the Command Center. Click on the “Subscribe Now” button at the bottom of the dialog as shown below.

Enter your e-mail address and password you registered when first installed and click the “Log In” button. Or click on the Register Now link to register your new online login.

Select WiLife Platinum from the drop down box as shown below. Then Click the Reseller Information link in the blue link on the bottom right.

Enter the following reseller information as shown below. Then Click the OK button.

Add additional video storage space for sharing online surveillance video and safe keeping by choosing the desired size by clicking the “Add To Cart” link as shown below.

Fill out your credit card details to purchase the Platinum yearly subscription. Then click the “Save Info and Continue” button.

The cart now displays your billing information, displaying an Edit link that allows you to edit the information, if applicable.

Click “Complete Purchase.” A printable version of your order displays on the screen. Click “View printable version” icon to view and print your order.

Now if you look at the Online tab screen you will see that all the features for Platinum have been enabled as shown below.

Things like Pan-Tilt-Zoom as shown below along with many other features as talked about above are now at your finger tips to see and manage your home or business.
