You must sign up from monthly service and after that pay an $89.95 one time yearly fee that buys your own web page that you can access your tracker from anywhere in the world as long as you have an Internet connection.
The WorldTracker GPRS allows you to view the tracker data using any Internet browser as long as it is IE 6.0 or higher from any location in the world. Blue dates have data and white dates don’t as shown above.
Here you can download the GPS tracking data onto your PC in .CSV format to put into a spreadsheet. Calander indications will guide you on how what data is available to download.
Tracking position can be displayed in Microsoft’s Virtual Earth. You can even display a Birds Eye View of the person or equipment being tracked.
Using the WorldTracker GPRS you can view the trackers location using Google Earth which is a very valuable free tool from Google that allows you to view your trackers position in real time in a Google Earth map.
Reports are available anytime. You can define driving reports or parking reports for the WorldTracker GPRS and find out where it’s been and many other details of GPS tracking like street address, stops, mileage, speed and other travel data.
A GeoFense allows to define a perimeter in which when the WorldTracker GPRS crosses will allowed you to receive alerts on. This is perfect for asset tracking or tracking parolees to see if they have violated their parole terms.
The WorldTracker GPRS global GPS tracking device has the ability to poll at a user defined interval to allow you to receive more up to date information. Polling intervals range from 2 minutes to 15 minutes.
The WorldTracker GPRS also has the ability to send a SOS message to a cell phone as an panic alert. This is good for a child who has been abducted and can get an alert from him or her when being abducted.
In addition to this the WorldTracker GPRS is also programmable. Message can be sent to the unit to allow it send its data to other locations like to an URL or E-mail or via UDP. Not only is this GPS Tracker useful out of the box but can easily be integrated in other 3′rd party GPS Tracking applications.
GLC Enterprises, Inc. is partnering with Ordia Solutions, Inc. to allow the WorldTracker GPRS to be the Tracking solution in there Command and Control application which is currently in various trials for Police and Firefighter coordination applications.
